Biography
J. Raul Garcia, known as WhatUpRG, began rapping at age 12 and was self-releasing music by 14. He signed with Reach Records in 2018, releasing the Pleasant Hill EP that year. The son of Mexican immigrant parents, he is one of the few prominent Latino voices in mainstream Christian hip hop, known for songs including "Glory," "PRAISE!," and "God Made a Way."
