Biography
William Lee Barefield III, known as Trip Lee, was born December 17, 1987 in Dallas, Texas. He signed to Reach Records and became a founding member of the 116 Clique alongside Lecrae and Andy Mineo. Known for his theological lyricism and transparency about struggles with chronic illness, he released six solo albums before stepping back from touring in 2016 to pastor a church. He is also the author of the books The Good Life and Rise. He has since returned to recording music while continuing pastoral ministry.
