Scootie Wop

Biography

Emmanuel Lofton, known as Scootie Wop, grew up in a gospel household in Hilton Head Island but fell into gang life and homelessness after his father abandoned the family. A near-death experience redirected him toward faith and Christian hip hop. He entered the genre in 2020, gained notice from Reach Records and Hulvey, and broke through with his SUPERDUPERCRUNK Tape (2022). He also produces, engineers, and designs graphics.
