Biography
Nate Feuerstein, known professionally as NF, was born March 30, 1991 in Gladwin, Michigan. He had a difficult childhood marked by his mother's drug addiction and his parents' divorce, which deeply informs his intensely personal lyrical style. He became a Christian and began releasing music through Capitol CMG. His 2017 album Perception debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, one of very few Christian artists to achieve that feat. He is known for addressing mental health, trauma, and faith with unflinching honesty, drawing a massive crossover audience while maintaining his Christian identity. His album The Search (2019) also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
