Biography
Max Lucado was born January 11, 1955 in San Angelo, Texas and raised in Andrews, Texas. He served as a missionary in Brazil with the Churches of Christ before becoming the preaching minister at Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, Texas. He has written nearly 100 books with over 150 million copies in print worldwide. He is a three-time recipient of the Gold Medallion Christian Book of the Year award and was named 'America's Pastor' by Christianity Today and 'The Best Preacher in America' by Reader's Digest in 2005.
