Biography
John Mark Hall was born September 14, 1969 and is the lead vocalist of Georgia-based contemporary Christian music group Casting Crowns. He has served as a youth pastor at Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia, and the band is composed of fellow worship leaders from his church. Casting Crowns has sold over 11 million albums in the United States and won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album. Hall has battled kidney cancer publicly, using his platform to encourage others facing illness.
