Biography
Joel David Smallbone was born June 5, 1984 in Sydney, Australia and immigrated to Nashville, Tennessee as a child with his family, including his sister singer Rebecca St. James. He and his brother Luke formed for KING & COUNTRY in 2011. The duo has won four Grammy Awards, seven Dove Awards, and has had multiple No. 1 Christian hits. Joel is also an actor, appearing in the films Young Washington and others, and is a passionate advocate for human dignity and faith.
