Canton Dorrelle Jones was born January 9, 1977 in Deerfield Beach, Florida and began singing at age five. He attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, joining the school's famed Glee Club, which performed for Oprah Winfrey, Stevie Wonder, and Ray Charles, and at the opening ceremony of the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and the first gospel concert ever held at The Pentagon. Jones founded Inspired Visuals Music and released his major-label debut Love Jones in 2005 on Arrow Records/EMI, which debuted at No. 11 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart. He is widely regarded as one of the founding fathers of Christian hip hop and known for anthems including 'Kingdom Business,' 'Stay Saved,' and 'The Password.' His catalog spans over 20 albums.
